APPARATUS OF CONTROL AUX MODE IN A CAR AUDIO SYSTEM

An apparatus for controlling an auxiliary mode in a car audio system is provided to allow conversion into an AUX mode only when the insertion of a plug to an AUX terminal and the operation of a player are detected, thereby improving user convenience. An apparatus for controlling an auxiliary mode in a car audio system comprises an A/D(Analog to Digital) converter(52) and a micro processor(50). The A/D converter connected to a speaker terminal of the car audio system detects and provides changes in resistance value. The micro processor judges connection of a player by the resistance value change provided from the A/D converter, converts operation of the car audio system into an AUX(Auxiliary) mode if a plug is inserted into an AUX terminal(30) of the car audio system.
