<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for flexibly retrieving a print job in compliance with varied places storing print jobs when a print job desired by a user is retrieved. <P>SOLUTION: A character string desired for retrieval is inputted from an entry 1201, and from a check box 1203, storage location/locations in an optional number is/are designated for a job desired by a user.
