PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably receive broadcast signals even while a receiver is moving. SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver 100 is mounted on a mobile body, and a receiver 101 receives broadcast signals transmitted from a first broadcast signal transmitter 111. A detector 102 detects broadcast signals transmitted from a second broadcast signal transmitter 112 that is different from the first broadcast signal transmitter 111. A switching part 103 switches broadcast signals received by the receiver 101 to second broadcast signals based on the receiving strength of first broadcast signals received by the receiver 101, the receiving strength of second broadcast signals detected by the detector 102, distance information between the first broadcast signal transmitter 111 and the mobile body, and distance information between the second broadcast signal transmitter 112 and the mobile body.
