Method for applying standardized plaster master rules. The plaster rules are applied by means of a tool produced preferably from stainless steel and with a U-shaped profile and eight cuts that define four clamping tabs equipped with knurled surface pads, on which tabs are secured two handles that make it possible to take hold of the master rules, for manipulation thereof, until they are definitively positioned with the aid of spirit levels. The tool may also be used to manipulate master rules made from a non-degradable material capable of being incorporated into the plastered wall. The knurled-surface pads may be replaced by a knurling performed directly on the clamping tabs.
