CAMERA STATE DETECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to divide and detect the dirt of a lens of a camera under variously changing conditions in a conventional technology when an environment around the lens of the camera changes by such various conditions that a change of a background image is small and images under various environmental conditions are used outdoors, etc. SOLUTION: A method for detecting the state of the camera with high detecting accuracy is provided which includes: a first process for imaging a plurality of images by the camera; a second process for detecting the same area duplicated between images in the plurality of images; a third process for extracting an image having a feature area different from those of other images in the same area; and a fourth process for defining the feature area as the abnormal state of the lens of the camera.
