<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus of a compact size, which can be installed in little installation space, and can clean different sizes and kinds of workpieces. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a cleaning unit 200 provided with a cleaning means containing a pair of cleaning rollers 210, a workpiece storage unit 100 storing a plurality of workpieces W, and a carrier unit 300 taking out the workpiece W from the workpiece storage unit 100 to convey to the cleaning unit 200. A part of the workpiece W is mounted on a part of the cleaning unit 200, and a carrier stage 270 is provided which has a carrier roller 272, the carrier roller sending away the workpiece W toward a pair of the cleaning rollers 210.
