<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a power-saving operation by performing the operation of turning on and off the power supply of an HDMI control LSI according to the validity of a connection with an IDMI Source. <P>SOLUTION: An HPD signal outputted from the HDMI Sink side is shared by a CPU and the HDMI control LSI. When the HDMI source is not in an operating state for outputting a video signal, the CPU resets the HDMI control LSI to reduce power consumption. When a temporary blackout of the power supply on the HDMI Sink side or quick switching of inputs occurs, an HPD signal noise caused thereby is detected by the HDMI control LSI. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
