PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photochromic film superior in electric reliability by reducing deterioration of variable capability of light control particles due to an electric field, having excellent durability to an ultraviolet ray and having excellent thermal stability, and to provide its manufacturing method and a photochromic material used for it. SOLUTION: The photochromic material contains energy ray-curable polymer medium including a resin and a photopolymerization initiator having ethylene unsaturation coupling and droplets of a light control suspension scattering in a scattering medium in a state where the light control particles can fluidize. The scattering medium in the light control suspension can be phase-separated from the polymer medium and its cured matter. In the photochromic material, ethylene unsaturation coupling concentration of the resin having the ethylene unsaturation coupling is 0.3 mol/kg to 0.5 mol/kg. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
