PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, wherein mounting of parts to a lower side of a display unit, making a screen large, and incorporating of a direction changing mechanism for a display surface into a pedestal, are attained while suppressing an increase in size of the device in a height direction. SOLUTION: A television broadcast receiving device 1 comprises: a display unit 20 which displays an image; a chassis 23 having a first fitting surface 23a fitted to a back 20b of the display unit 20 and a second fitting surface 23b disposed in front of the first fitting surface 23a; a bracket 4 including a pair of chassis fitting portions 40 fitted to the second fitting surface 23b of the chassis 23 and a recessed portion 41 coupling the pair of chassis fitting portions 40 to each other and forming a predetermined space with the second fitting surface 23b, wherein a stand fitting portion 42 being disposed behind the first fitting surface 23a of the chassis 23; a stand portion 3 to which the stand fitting portion 42 of the bracket 4 is fitted; and an LED unit 25 disposed in the predetermined space.
