<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily recognize a message box displayed in a display part when an application is operated by means of a remote control device. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring application 12C monitors whether a message box is displayed in the display part 15 of a PC 10. Once it is detected that the message box is displayed in the display part 15 of the PC 10, the monitoring application 12C creates a remote-control message box according to the message box displayed, and sends it to the remote control device 20. The remote control device 20 receives the remote-control message box from the monitoring application 12C and displays it in the display part 24 of the remote-control device.
