PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a homogeneous metal matrix composite material (MMC). SOLUTION: The method comprises designating the use of metal matrix powders having a particle size ranging from 20 to 55 microns (μm) (step 105), designating the use of ceramic-reinforcing material powders having a particle size ranging from 1 to 30 microns (μm) (step 110), measuring and mixing preferably 15 to 25% by volume of the metal powders with respect to the ceramic-reinforcing material powders (step 115), adding butanol as a liquid carrier to MMC powders (step 120), adding high-density zirconia or alumina balls having a diameter ranging from 2 to 4 mm to a slurry (step 125), mixing the slurry (step 130), decanting the butanol (step 135), drying the mixture for 24 hours (step 140), and removing the zirconia balls (step 145).
