PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush which removes stain that is especially pigmented soil effectively while it can brush away the plaque of details such as a tooth surface, the cervical portion of a tooth, and an interdental part efficiently. SOLUTION: A head part is provided with a plurality of bristle planting holes in a bristle planting surface. A toothbrush plants the bristle tuft of brushes in each bristle planting hole of this bristle planting surface. One bristle tuft row of brushes which are implanted in the bristle planting hole which ranges from 2.0 mm to 2.8 mm in inside diameter is at least arranged in the center along the longitudinal direction of the head part. One bristle bundle row of brushes which are implanted in the bristle planting hole which is smaller than the bristle planting hole of the central bristle tuft row and ranges from 1.2 mm to 1.6 mm in inside diameter is at least arranged on both external sides of the central bristle tuft row. The ratio of the total area of the central bristle planting hole to the total area of both the external sides bristle planting hole ranges from 1:0.6 to 1:2.8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
