PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tomographic apparatus which enables appropriate beam hardening and sets an appropriate weighted addition coefficient. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus (100) is equipped with: an X-ray irradiation part (21) for irradiating a subject with X rays having a first energy spectrum and X rays having a second energy spectrum which is different from the first energy spectrum; an X-ray data acquisition part (24) for acquiring first energy projection data (D-L) and second energy projection data (D-H); a dual energy image reconstructing part (35) for performing the image reconstruction of a dual energy image by differentiating the second energy projection data or a second energy tomographic image (G-H) from the value obtained by multiplying the first energy projection data or a first energy tomographic image (G-L) by the weighted addition coefficient; and a coefficient determining part (38) for determining the weighted addition coefficient in accordance with geometric characteristics of the subject.
