<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor element having a through-hole passing through a plurality of solid electrolytes in the thickness direction and which is difficult to make a conducting path defective which is formed by a conductive layer arranged at the through-hole. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a gas sensor element 4, employed in an NOx sensor 2 is provided comprises a conductive layer forming step of forming a first conductive layer 137 and a second conductive layer 138 for each of a first solid electrolyte board 127 and a second solid electrolyte board 125, and a following laminating step of laminating the first solid electrolyte board 127 and the second electrolyte board 125, while contacting a first outer conductive layer 135 with a second outer conductive layer 149. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
