PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oven door attaching and detaching apparatus enabling the grasp of the stroke history of a cylinder device to hoist or lower oven door, capable of easily changing the setting of stroke and the safe and sure attaching and detaching of the oven door even by varying the height of the oven door, installable without necessitating a wide installation space, producible at a low cost and having low running cost. SOLUTION: The oven door attaching and detaching apparatus is placed on a pusher or a coke guide vehicle and performs a hooking work, a hoisting work and a rehoisting work in the hoisting process, and works reverse to the hoisting process, i.e. a relowering work, a lowering work and an unhooking work in the lowering process. The apparatus is provided with a cylinder device 8 to lift or lower hoist hooks 10, 11 for suspending lug pieces 2, 3 of the oven door 1, and a stroke sensor 9 for detecting the stroke of the cylinder device 8.
