PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fiber exhibiting less strength decrease even by being exposed with sunlight for a long time and suitably used as an industrial material. SOLUTION: This polyester fiber is obtained by imparting a treating agent containing each 0.2-3 wt. % phenol-based antioxidant, sulfur-based antioxidant and hindered amine-based optical stabilizer on the surface of the polyester fiber.
