<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which, when a caregiver lifts the base of an electric bed for performing work such as assistance and bed making, the caregiver has to lower the height of the bed base to its original position after the work. <P>SOLUTION: In lifting/lowering the bed base 2, the electric bed has a first switch group for lifting/lowering the bed base parts in the head side and the foot side, and a second switch group for lifting/lowering the bed base by a bed base flame, and a control means has a bed base height detecting means and a bed base height storage means. This bed base lifting/lowering control mechanism consists of a first control step for detecting simultaneous operation of at least two adjoining switches 14d and 13d of the first and second switch groups and storing the bed base height in the bed base height storage means, a second control step for lifting/lowering the bed base by the simultaneous operation of the switches with another switch 13u, and a third control step for lifting/lowering the bed base to the bed base height stored in the bed base height storage means by the simultaneous operation of at least the adjoining two switches of the first and second switch groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
