<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic fuel injection valve capable of shortening the time required from the end of injection till the start of next injection. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel injection valve to bring a closed valve state in which a valve body 102 is in contact with a valve seat 116a into an open valve state by energizing a coil 106 to apply suction force to a movable element 102 and driving the valve body 114 in a valve opening direction, during closing operation from the open valve state to the closed valve state, the coil 105 is energized after the valve body 114 collides with the valve seat 116a, force in the opposite direction to the direction of the closing operation (that is the suction force) is applied to the movable element 102, and thereby, movement of the movable element 102 after the valve body 102 has been brought into contact with the valve seat 116a can be suppressed, and the movable element 102 can be quickly returned to an initial position during start of the valve opening operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
