<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission/reception device capable of avoiding a sound break by not performing negotiation processing itself resulting in the sound break as far as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A receiver performs flow control by accumulating voice data transmitted from a transmitter over a network in a buffer 360 and reading the voice data based on a clock signal separately generated with a receiver 110. The receiver comprises a nonvolatile memory 312 for saving information on a device connected before. On the occasion of connection, the receiver determines whether the connection has been made before or not based on the content saved at the nonvolatile memory 312. When it is judged that the connection has been made before, exchange of commands for performing flow control is not performed with a connection destination device, but a setup for performing the flow control is performed, based on the content saved at nonvolatile memories 311 and 312. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
