<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel arithmetic unit and a parallel arithmetic method for simplifying wiring between a plurality of arithmetic units. <P>SOLUTION: The parallel arithmetic unit is equipped with: a plurality of units daisy-chained through a daisy-chain control bus in a predetermined sequence; and an amplifier for receiving an output value to be output by any one of the plurality of units through a unit output bus, and for outputting the received output value as an input value through a unit input bus to each of the plurality of units. Each of the units is configured to perform an arithmetic operation by an arithmetic method predetermined for each unit based on the input value from the amplifier to be input through the unit output bus, and to, according as a token is input from the previous unit through the daisy-chain control bus, output the token through the daisy-chain control bus to the next unit, and to output the arithmetic result through a unit output bus to the amplifier as the output value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
