PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain transmission of a seamless packet without missing the packet, even if a source base-station is changed over due to handover etc. SOLUTION: This communication device includes a packet receiving section 220 for receiving packets from another communication device connected to this communication device, a jitter buffer 228 for storing the packets received by the packet receiving section 220, a continuation recognizing section 230 for allowing, when the another communication device is handed over, the communication device to recognize the packet from the current another communication device stored in the jitter buffer 228 and the packet from further another communication device handed-over, as a continuous packet in the same session.
