Apparatus and method for providing information about an alcoholic beverage, such as wines, spirits, beers and liqueurs requested by a customer in an on-site alcoholic beverage retailer, residence or other establishment in visual format, and optionally a printed format attachment to a label or tag to a beverage bottle, can, or other container. The beverage information may be augmented by personalized information also printed on the label. The apparatus and method may be part of a network linking a plurality of apparatus to a central control and database of beverage information. The apparatus provides requested printed beverage information, optionally in-depth, with personalized information, for subsequent attachment to the bottle, can or the like by the customer for transfer to another person, as a gift, which provides fully described information. |
