GRAPHIC PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING LINE ACCELERATION FUNCTION

A graphic processing method and an apparatus thereof for supporting a line acceleration function are provided to convert a line, which graphic data indicates, into a polygon and to perform rendering of converted polygon through a hardware acceleration process. A least one line which graphic data shows is converted into polygon(211). Points composing the line are connected to lines which are away from specific distance and generates polygon against the line. One or more polygon which graphic data shows is rendered(212). It determines whether the line is 2 dimensional line or 3 dimensional line. If the line is 2 dimensional line, the line is converted in 2 dimensional polygon. If the line is 3 dimensional line, the line is converted in 3 dimensional polygon.
