PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated backlight fluorescent lamp fixing unit capable of fixing the fluorescent lamps fitted to a liquid crystal display to the frame of the liquid crystal display by simple steps. SOLUTION: The integrated backlight fluorescent lamp fixing unit includes: a conductive base having a rectangular base plate made of a metal material and a plurality of contact terminals arranged on the base plate at specified intervals and projecting upward; and a cover fitted to the upper part of the conductive base and having cut openings formed at the portions where the contact terminals of the conductive base are positioned. The fluorescent lamp connection cables penetrating through the cut openings are electrically connected, and the conductive base and the connection cables of the fluorescent lamps are electrically connected to each other. Consequently, the plurality of the fluorescent lamps fitted to the liquid crystal display can be secured to the frame of the liquid crystal display by the simple steps. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
