PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink fountain device for a printer, whose ink blade has an improved function while preventing the flotation of the ink blade with a balance between the force of a plate spring on the front face of the ink blade and the force of an eccentric ring on the inclined face at the rear end of the ink blade. SOLUTION: The ink blade 3 has a vertical face at the front end and the upward inclined face at the rear end. A plurality of slits are cut ranging from the upper end of a metal plate material to the center to integrally form a plurality of independent tongue pieces on a base-end connection portion. The tongue pieces are bent into a V-shape to form the plate spring 5. The plate spring 5 is fixed to the front face of a board 9. The front end of a bent portion is made to abut on the front end face of the ink blade 3. A balance between the thrust of the plate spring 5 and the thrust of the eccentric ring 113 pressed against the inclined face prevents the flotation of the ink blade 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
