摘要 <p>Intended is to provide a solid cam mechanism, which can select a cam guide face shape freely to improve the degree of freedom for selecting the target locus on the follower side drastically and which not only can transmit the power strongly and reliably without being limited to the power transmission between orthogonal axes but also can perform reversible actions. The solid cam mechanism is constituted such that a solid cam (1) has a three-dimensional cam guide face (2 (3)), and such that the cam guide face (2) is made to guide a cam follower (6 (7)) formed at a predetermined angle at one end of a follower link (4), so that the rotational motion of the solid cam (1) is transformed into the rocking motion of the other end of the follower link (4). As a result, the cam guide face shape can be freely selected to improve the degree of freedom for selecting the target locus on the follower side drastically, and the smooth actions of the solid cam can be obtained not only by the selection of the shape of a support member but also by the free design of the cam guide face shape while being neither limited to the power transmission between the orthogonal axes nor followed by the backlash.</p>
