<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the quality of battery backup without a mistake even when an instantaneous power failure occurs in a main power supply. <P>SOLUTION: This backup memory device 20 is provided with a battery status storing part 22 which operates by battery voltage from a battery 40 when the feeding of the main power supply from a main power supply circuit 50 is stopped and whose storage contents are reset when the battery voltage falls to prescribed voltage or below. In the battery status storing part 22, the storage contents are set in a set state before the feeding of the main power supply is stopped, the storage contents are later read when the feeding of the main power supply is restarted, the quality of battery backup is determined to be satisfactory while the storage contents are set, and the battery backup is not determined to be satisfactory while the storage contents are reset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
