Provided is an optical selector which can suppress attenuation of a light and surely transfer a signal from one or more optical output units to one or more optical input units. The optical selector (1A) includes: an optical waveguide (2A); one or more LD (3) arranged at arbitrary positions on the outer circumference of the optical waveguide (2A) and emitting light toward the first light guiding portion (20A); and one or more photo detectors (4) arranged at arbitrary positions on the outer circumference of the optical waveguide (2A) and receiving the light emitted from the outer circumference of the optical waveguide (2A). The optical waveguide (2A) is formed by a first light guiding portion (20A) having a first refractivity and a second light guiding portion (21A) having a second refractivity and arranged so as to surround the entire circumference of the first light guiding portion (20A). The second light guiding portion (21A) has an outer circumferential face exposed. Reflection members (23A) are arranged on the both surfaces of the first light guide portion (20A) and the second light guide portion (21A) in such a manner that the reflections members (23A) oppose to each other.
