An HAS(Head Stack Assembly), a hard disk drive including the same and an assembling method thereof are provided to reduce the friction and noise in the movement of a unamount type HSA by suppressing the strain of the axial and radial direction of a pivot bearing in the HSA. An HSA(10) comprises a pivot bearing(25), an overmold(20) is interposed between a pair of arms(12,16), and head sliders(15,19) for data recording/playback mounted on the top of the arms. The pivot bearing, including an inner pipe(26), an outer pipe(28), and a bearing member(27) interposed between the inner and outer pipes, penetrates through the arms so that the lower end protrudes below the lower arm(16). A connection member is adhered to a groove formed on the lower end of the pivot bearing in order to prevent the separation of the arms.
