<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system with which communication between terminals stored in a radio packet communication network is attainable. <P>SOLUTION: A connection device 1 is interposed between communication equipment 20 for connection with the radio packet communication network 40 and a host device 10 which performs communication via the communication equipment 20. The connection device 1 transmits a communication request with a second host device 10b to a computer 51 for management after connection with the radio packet communication network 40. The computer 51 for management transmits a calling message to the second connection device 1b. The second connection device 1b is connected to the radio packet communication network 40 when the calling message is received.
