PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella storing and drying apparatus in an automobile, cooling and retaining heat while storing drinking water or the like in a container such as a plastic bottle, and facilitating taking out of the plastic bottle and an umbrella stored in a tubular body. SOLUTION: The tubular body 3 connected with an air conditioning unit by piping, having a drain port, and storing the umbrella or bottled water, is disposed to each of right and left sides or either of them of an instrument panel 1 of the automobile in a vehicular longitudinal direction. A hemispherical basket 7 is inserted in the tubular body 3 to be movable in the vehicular longitudinal direction. A wire 8 is connected with the basket 7, and an electric retraction part 9 for retracting the wire 8 to move the basket 7 to the rear of the vehicle, is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
