An Ethernet data reforming apparatus comprises: a data receiving unit (502), for receiving the data of a gigabit passive optical network frame; a data reforming unit (504), for storing the data of gigabit passive optical network frame into the corresponding location of a data buffer unit, based on the Ethernet data inter-variable stored in the data reforming table unit; a data reforming table unit (506), for storing the Ethernet data inter-variable; and a data buffer unit (508), for storing the received data of the gigabit passive optical network frame, for acquiring the reformed Ethernet data. A method comprises the following steps: receiving the data of a gigabit passive optical network frame; storing the data of gigabit passive optical network frame into the corresponding location of a data buffer unit, based on the Ethernet data inter-variable stored in the data reforming table unit. According to the present invention, the ONU and OLT could perform an interleaving process for any number of data frames. |
