SHAPED BODY MADE FROM WOOD PARTICLES AND A PU BONDING AGENT,USE AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

The invention relates to a shaped body substantially consisting of A) wood particles and/or material containing cellulase (constituent A) and B) a porous PU agent (component B) in a weight ratio of 0.05-1.0: 1.0 (constituent B) to constituent A)). The inventive shaped body can be produced by reacting at least one polyisocyanate with at least o ne polyol and/or polyamine and at least one carboxylic acid as an expanding agent, preferably at temperatures of 80-100 .degree.C with a n initial pressure of over 1 kp/cm2. Gas formation and the final properties of the moulded bodies are substantially independent of the moistu re content of component A). This is particularly valid with respect to high stability values and elasticity.
