<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a charging device which can improve charging efficiency, by balancing the charging voltage of a capacitor cell and which can facilitate additional installation of the capacitor cell by unitizing the capacitor cell. <P>SOLUTION: The charging device connected with a plurality of capacitor cells in series comprises an average voltage circuit which is connected to the capacitor cells in parallel therewith, and generates an average voltage of each capacitor cell, by dividing the sum of cell voltages of capacitor cells by using a resistor; a potential difference detection circuit which extracts the average voltage of the capacitor cell generated at the average voltage circuit; a voltage comparison circuit which compares the inter-terminal voltage of the capacitor cell with the average voltage of the capacitor cell, and outputs a voltage which is calculated, on the basis of the comparison result; and a voltage-adjusting circuit which adjusts the voltage of the capacitor cell, when the voltage is outputted from the voltage comparison circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
