<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant which is less selective in the kinds of odor components and has an instantaneous effect and a long lasting effect. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorant contains an amphoteric macromolecule (A) whose essential component monomers are an anionic vinyl monomer (a1) having a sulfonic acid group, a sulfate group or a phosphate ester group and a cationic vinyl monomer (a2). The cationic vinyl monomer having at least one cationic group selected from a group comprising a primary amino group, a secondary amino group, a tertiary amino group and a quaternary ammonium salt group is preferable as the cationic vinyl monomer (a2), and it is preferable that the average molecular weight of the amphoteric macromolecule (A) is 1,000 to 10,000,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
