A composition for cosmetic use, and a method for treating the hair, the skin, the lips, the eyes or the nails by using the composition are provided to improve the characteristics of the composition. A composition for cosmetic use comprises a metal oxide-layered pigment; optionally about 0.05-15 wt% of at least one film releasing agent; about 0.05-15 wt% of at least one stabilizer; and at least one auxiliary component, wherein the metal oxide-layered pigment comprises at least two layers.
