<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion tracker capable of surely identifying respective optical markers when identifying the respective present positions of three or more optical markers such as LEDs attached to an object such as helmet with a head mounted display device. <P>SOLUTION: This motion tracker 1 includes the three or more identical optical markers 7, a camera device 2, an optical marker position information calculation section, a relative information calculation section 22 for calculating relative information including the present position and present angle of an object 10 relative to the camera device, an object angular velocity detection sensor for detecting an object angular speed applied to the object 10, an angle/moving distance calculation section 23 calculating the angle/moving distance of the object 10 based on the object angular velocity, and an optical marker estimation section 26 estimating an estimate movement position of the optical marker 7 based on the optical marker position information and the angle/moving distance, wherein an optical marker position information calculation section 24 identifies the three or more optical markers 7 based on the estimate movement position of the optical markers 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
