<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device (ECU) having required minimum construction for adequately processing a request message which is transmitted from a diagnosis device for diagnosing a failure of the ECU, to the ECU to request information required for diagnosing the failure. <P>SOLUTION: The ECU 10 comprises a receiving buffer 35 for storing a high-priority request message, and a receiving buffer 38 for storing a low-priority request message. So it can receive the high-priority request message and the low-priority request message in parallel with each other via a data link layer 30. A communication management part 40 mediates the high-priority request message and the low-priority request message so that the former is processed in priority. Thus, the ECU 10 can receive the high-priority request message even during receiving the low-priority request message, and process the high-priority request message in priority. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
