PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently reproduce colors out of the gamut of a color chart by accurately predicting the colors out of the gamut of the color chart and adding the colors as target data in optimization. SOLUTION: The color processing method for generating color processing parameters to be used for color processing to be applied on an image photographed by an imaging means, includes steps of: inputting data of the image photographed by the imaging means; inputting target data corresponding to the data; generating a pair of new data and the target data on the basis of the data and the target data; and generating the color processing parameters for converting the data into the target data.
