PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar magnetic element as a thin inductor for facilitating high-density mounting in which generation of leakage magnetic field is controlled and the impact of external magnetic field is constrained. SOLUTION: In a planar magnetic element including a planar coil and a magnetic body layer covering the planar coil at least on one major surface side thereof, a conductor layer is provided on the surface of the magnetic body layer.
