摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type electrooptical device reliably preventing light intruded from a gap between light reflection layers from being made incident on a semiconductor layer, and also to provide a projection display device provided with the reflection type electrooptical device. <P>SOLUTION: In an element substrate 10 of the reflection type electrooptical device, a light transmissible substrate is used as a supporting substrate 10d and a semiconductor layer 1a is formed in an island shape in a region superposed on a pixel electrode 9a as an island-shaped light reflection layer. In both a scanning line 3a and a data line 6a, the parts thereof superposed on a part 9b between the pixel electrodes 9a adjacent to each other, serve as relay wiring parts 3f and 6f made of a light transmissible conductive material such as an ITO. Thereby, light intruding from a gap between adjacent pixel electrodes 9a hardly causes reflection and the like, is transmitted through the element substrate 10, and is not made incident on the semiconductor layer 1a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
