ALTERNATING CURRENT GENERATOR FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an alternating current generator for vehicle in which good cooling performance can be achieved by increasing the heat dissipation area without making the cross-sectional area of the air duct of a heat sink for regulator circuit board small unduly.

SOLUTION: The heat sink 60 for cooling a regulator circuit board has a planar base portion 61. Fifteen sheets of fin 62 are projected vertically from one side of the base portion 61 and arranged in parallel with each other. A regulator circuit board is bonded to the other side of the base portion 61 of the heat sink 60 and the fins 62 can be accommodated and held in the regulator circuit board accommodation section of the regulator assembly toward the rear bracket.
