PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a protector, which safely protects a lock arm from interference with another member during transportation or the like, and allows an unlocking operation from a connector locked state to be executed with a finger like a normal case. SOLUTION: In the connector with a protector wherein the protector 30 guiding a wire W extracted from the rear surface of a connector housing 11 in a predetermined direction while protecting the wire W is mounted to a rear part of the connector housing 11 having a lock arm 13 for being locked to a mating connector, the protector 30 is provided with a bridge-like protective beam 48 protecting the lock arm from interference with another member by covering the upper part of the lock arm 13 when mounted to the rear part of the connector housing 11, and the protective beam is arranged to allow an operation part 13a of the lock arm to be pressed down with a finger in the unlocking direction.
