<p>The invention relates to device for the qualitative or quantitative measurement of magnetic particles, which device (10) includes a coil arrangement (20 - 23), arranged to form an inductance bridge (19), of which coils (20, 21) at least two are arranged to operate as a measuring part (17), on which the magnetic particles (12) to be measured are arrangeable to act simultaneously, and part of which coil arrangement (20 - 23) is arranged to operate as a reference/compensation part (18), and from the signal of which coil arrangement (20 - 23) a change of inductance correlating to the number of magnetic particles is arranged to be detected.
