<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge dehydrator for drain liquid discharged from an intermittent sludge discharge type filtering apparatus, and a sludge dehydrating method. <P>SOLUTION: A vertically expansible expansion joint pipe 5 is provided under an automatic drain valve 4 for directly connecting the sludge dehydrator 6 to the automatic drain valve 4 of the intermittent sludge discharge type filtering apparatus 1 comprising a filter having a cyclone filter intermittently discharging drain liquid, or a filter element intermittently discharging drain liquid, to vertically movably connect an upper tank 7 of the sludge dehydrator 6 to the automatic drain valve 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
