<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical penetration system to access tissues. <P>SOLUTION: The surgical penetration system is a cannula including an outer wall disposed around a longitudinal axis and having a longitudinal inner lumen. The cannula comprises a cannula to demarcate the distal end and rear end; a closure configured to be inserted into the longitudinal inner lumen of the cannula; and at least one substantially linear penetration member attached to the outer wall of the cannula, extending approximately in the axial direction of the longitudinal axis, and adapted to facilitate penetration of the cannula into the tissues. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
