PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial coating material exhibiting good antibacterial effect both at a light place and at a dark place. SOLUTION: The antibacterial coating material comprises a resin composition for a coating material, and a powdery metal-modified apatite in which a part of metal atoms contained in an apatite crystal structure is a photocatalytic metal.
