PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating grinder eliminating the necessity of securing a broad movement space for a table within a horizontal plane and enabling compact configuration of the entire grinder. SOLUTION: A rotating grindstone 29 is arranged in a fixed position with respect to the vertical direction, and a drive shaft 37 is arranged to extend in the horizontal direction. The table 36 is arranged to enable vertical reciprocation. Between the table 36 and the drive shaft 37, an eccentric wheel mechanism 43 for converting the rotation of the drive shaft 37 to vertical reciprocation and transmitting the reciprocation to the table 36 is interposed. A cancel mechanism 50 for canceling an inertial load accompanying the reciprocation of the table 36 is provided. By vertically reciprocating the table 36, grinding processing is applied to a workpiece W on the table 36 by the rotating grindstone 29. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
