A method of operating a working machine (10) having a body (11) and a first working arm (16) releasably carrying a first working implement (22) at its outermost end. A superstructure (25) rotatable relative to the body (11) about a first generally upright axis (B) provides a mounting (26) for a second working arm (27) rotatable about a second generally upright axis (D) and carrying a second working implement (32) at its outermost end (30). The machine (10) further includes a third implement (40) carried at the second end (24) of the body (11) on a further mounting structure (41) that includes a further mounting assembly capable of mounting the first mounting implement. The method comprises manipulating the second working arm (27) to move the mounting (100) for the second working implement (32) to the mounting structure (110) carrying the first working implement, disengaging the first working implement (22) therefrom and transporting it using the second working arm (27) to engage it with the further mounting assembly (41).
