METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HYDROFORMYLATION

A hydroformylation method for preparing an aldehyde, and a hydroformylation apparatus are provided to promote the liquid/gas contact in hydroformylation, thereby improving reaction efficiency. A hydroformylation method comprises the step of premixing at least one olefin and a synthetic gas comprising carbon monoxide and hydrogen before they are injected into a reactor. Preferably the premixing process is carried out by using a continuous homogenizer(50) or a batch type homogenizer. Preferably the homogenizer has an internal temperature of 25-300 deg.C, an internal pressure of 1-300 bar and a rotation velocity of 100-100,000 rpm.
